Staff for Recycling Center Wanted

Do you want to be part of our work for a sustainable future? Samverkan Återvinning Miljö is looking for a service-oriented and environmentally conscious individual for the position of environmental worker at our recycling centers.

The tasks include informing and guiding visitors regarding waste management, reception control, sorting, and reloading of waste. You will be responsible for maintaining order at the facility and contributing to the development of routines and activities at the facility to promote increased reuse and recycling.

Working hours are daytime, evening, and Saturdays according to a rotating schedule. As an environmental worker at SÅM, you will be stationed at Gislaveds ÅVC and Smålandsstenar ÅVC. Work at other ÅVCs within SÅM may also occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in the environment and who values reuse and recycling. Working at a recycling center involves a lot of customer contact, so you should be service-oriented, cheerful, and pedagogical when interacting with our customers. We place great importance on personal qualities such as initiative, broad social competence, responsibility, and flexibility. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience in customer service and customer interaction is an advantage. The position requires good physical condition.

A B driver's license is required. Experience with or certification for wheel loaders and other construction machinery, as well as experience in recycling work, is an advantage. Are you the one we are looking for? Welcome with your application today!
